Reconnecting with one's own children

Your daddy may not be around you due to any circumstances, but he always loves you. Only a parent can feel the situation when it comes to reconnecting with one’s own children. Revolving around the life of a morbidly obese English teacher, the movie The Whale depicts the complexity of human suffering.

Brendan Fraser delivers an outstanding performance as Charlie, a man who is struggling with his weight and the aftermath of a tragic event in his life.

Directed by Darren Aronofsky and written by Samuel D. Hunter, the movie's pacing is slow but deliberate, giving the audience ample time to connect with the characters and their emotions.

The movie's ending is cathartic, leaving the audience with a sense of hope and closure.

Takeaway thoughts:

People are amazing. Be kind to them.

Humans come first. Respect their decisions about their personal lives.

Do not judge people as you may not know what they are going through.
